Measurement and Inspection:

Measurement Reservation Procedure: To book an appointment for Boat measurement and Sail inspection, please contact Marina Pesic, RCYC Sailing Coordinator at(416) 934-4435 to be assigned a measurement slot in advance. We will try to honor all requested times and dates; first entries to be received will be the first requests allocated. You may also book a time slot with the Sailing Office upon arrival to the club.

Boats shall be made available for inspection and measurement at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club as described on the Measurement Schedule form and NOR.


Sail Inspection:

All 2001 and later sails shall bear a valid sail tag in conformity to Class Rule 6.9. All 2000 and earlier sails shall be accompanied by the sail maker's measurement certificate certifying the date of delivery of the sail. For each boat, the Organizing Authority shall select sails for measurement, but if any such sail is found not to comply with the Class Rules, all sails of that boat are subject to measurement. Sails shall be presented for inspection and measurement as described on the Measurement Schedule.

Crew Weigh-In:

All crew members, including the Owner or Owner-Charterer of the boat being entered must be weighed on the official scale and sign the Crew Eligibility, Weigh-in & Waiver declaration. Substitute crew must be approved by the Principal Race Officer and weighed, sign the waiver and declaration during the weigh-in period prior to sailing a race.

Refer to the NOR for crew weigh-in schedule. Alternate Crew Weigh-In will be available every morning of the regatta.
