2010 Youngstown Level Regatta

2010 Season
We had 7 great races with extremely tight racing.... in fact the top 2 boats were both tied after Saturday with 2 firsts and 2 seconds...   PLANET B and JAMAICA ME KRAZY ...
The 4 other boats were duking it out with tight racing and great fun.
We were fortunate to get HANK STUART from Rochester who is an well known and Excellent PRO and he managed the course so well with great lines and 4 races on Saturday 3 on Sunday.
Winds were great.
The Regatta win was not determine until the last leg of the 7th race where the lead for the overall win changed hands several times.... with Peter Hall on JAMAICA getting the top spot, PLANET B in 2nd and THE USUAL SUSPECTS showing great form with a  win on the 7th race for 3RD overall.

VOODOO MAGI, TUSK and SCOTCH ROCKS all showed great form at times and improved throughout the 7 races,

It is dissappointing that our very active fleet with some many great boats could only muster 6 out of a possible 17-20 for what turned out the BEST RACING OF THIS YEAR..

Do not let this happen to the Canadians... we all agreed to go to CORK and we will have another great regatta away from all the business pressures and be ready for fun times.  They start with the delivery race to Kingston and I will be forwarding the SI"s shortly in the next few days for discussion.

Congrats to Peter Hall and Crew  ... and thanks to all the PLANET B guys who did so well and came so close.
